105 Little Bourke Street Melbourne 3000 Victoria, Australia 03 9671 3907 http://www.dessertkitchen.com.au https://www.facebook.com/dessertkitchenaus The desserts look very, very pretty and that’s about it. I tried 3 and they definately did not leave me craving for more. At an average price of more than AUD10.00, it is a very dissapointing experience at this new dessert joint, which opened not too long ago. Because it is new, do expect to join a long queue before you get a table. This place makes me appreciate more the desserts served at other competing Asian Dessert joints.

Tofu With Hokkaido Red Beans (Sweet Tofu, Red Bean, Mini Rice Ball, Chestnut)
The texture of the sweet tofu (Douhua) is definately one of the worse ones I tried so far.

Ujikintoki Traditional Japanese Style Dessert (Gree Tea Syrup, Mini Rice Ball, Red Bed, Vanilla Ice Cream)
All I tasted was plain shaved ice without much flavour or sweetness to it. The other components of this dessert did very little to rescue the bland taste overall.
